A Blessed Life - Part 2

Psalm 1:4-6

Key Points:

1

There's a difference being Blessed and being lucky, lucky doesn't last but Blessings are from God and last.

2

When we are connected we are stronger together. Not like the wicked they will blow away because they aren't connected and has no value. They will not be able to stand before the almighty God!

3

God knows the difference between saint and sinner. We all are guilty of sinning against God. He understands what we are going through, He's constantly watching over us and is concerned about you. He understands where we are and what we are dealing with.

The Blessed Life

Psalm 1:1-6

Key Points:

1

Do you want to be blessed? Your blessings should not be measured by your stuff. People gather thing's across the fence, so we should be careful not to covent what they have. We should be happy with what God has blessed us to have.

2

The word Luck shouldn't be in the vocabulary of a Christian, you take away the glory of God when you credit luck.

3

The Blessed Life is mark by separation. The first mark of a blessed life is what you don't do. It's more than being happy, because God has put joy in your heart.

4

The Blessed Life is a marked life. Psalm 1 has the prescription if you want to be blessed. You must follow Jesus prescription. You find joy and satisfaction in God's word, you find pleasure and you find yourself studying it because it's so good. You're delighted to meditate on it day and night it becomes your lifestyle. God's word is life! If the word of God is not in you, then the world will shape you.

5

The Blessed Life is Stability. When rooted in word of God then you can stand the storms of life. The winds may blow and you may bend but you won't break because you're rooted in the word of God. We need a solid foundation.

A Message From Job Part 2

Job 21-3

Key Points:

1

We must remember that satan is always on the tracks of God's children trying to destroy them but not the sinners because he already has them.

2

After all the loss Job went through he still worshipped God. He never gave up on God. Some people turn away from God when they are hurting or lose everything. Some get angry with God for the smallest thing.

3

We must remember that Job wife also loss children, cattle and finance, after all she is his wife and she couldn't stand to see her husband suffering, maybe that's why she spoke like she did. Only God understands where we are and the heart of every individual.

4

We should worship God when time's are good and even not so good. If you can only worship God when thing's are good, you have the wrong concept. At the end of the day we too can remain faithful to God.

5

Just like Job did no wrong, Jesus Himself did no wrong but suffered, died and rose for our sins.

Lessons From A Man Named Job

Job 1:1

Key Points:

1

Have you ever encountered people that were faithful and strive to live according to God's word, then somewhere down the line tragedy happened then they (we) question God "Why"? Remember God is sovereign and can do what He wants because He's God.

2

Job was all about doing what was right everyday. From the time he woke up and last @ night. That's the way we should find ourselves worshipping God everyday all day.

3

We should find time seeking God in prayer for our children. Our children need someone to stand in the gap for them just like Job did. Satan is after our children and in the midst in churches.

4

You really don't want Satan on you if you're not a child of God, and you can't stomp on the devil's head, he's too powerful and cunning, he's no dummy.

5

Don't worship God because of the stuff He gives, love and worship God because you genuinely love Him. Don't put your hope in the stuff but in Jesus.

6

Sometimes God will allow the devil to whip you and cause tragedy in your life to see if you really trust in Him. How do you respond when you're going through? Do you question God? Do you get angry? Or do you fall to the ground in worship like Job?

7

No matter what we go through, we still must worship God. He's still God in the midst of tragedy and all that we go through. We must draw close to God, stay in His word and pray. He must be first in all that we do.

Faith In The Fire

Daniel 3:19-30

Key Points:

1

When the storms of life come, how do you respond to them. When storms come they will show you where your faith is and that you have to trust God to see you through them. Unless God has brought you through something and He will test you to let you see just where you are with your faith in Him.

2

Out of fear do you find yourself doing the opposite of what God told you do? Remember that the devil is always there trying to trick you into doing the opposite of what God has told you to do. Don't bow down to him.

3

The world will continue to be your friend as long as you're a Christian in the Church only. When you refuse to go along with their ways (the world) they get upset with you. They say thing's like "you think you're better than us, or judge you.

4

Just like those Hebrew boy's, God is with you all the time. God always protects His own. God has a way of making us comfortable in uncomfortable situations!

5

When you find yourself in uncomfortable situations....Pray because it works! It will bring you out! God is with us right now!

6

God is the greatest God above all the other gods. If you worship those gods, and Jesus is not lifted up then you're worshipping the wrong god, not The True And Living God!

7

We must have strong faith. Where is your faith? Do you have a faith that say no matter what I'm gonna trust Him. Do you lean on Jesus? He's well able to bring you out of the fiery furnace.

Love Your Neighbor

Luke 10:25-37

Key Points:

1

Who is your neighbor? Just because someone is close to you doesn't mean we should trust them. Do we take the time to get to know our neighbors and do we love them as Christ says.

2

Think about if Christ hadn't loved us, we we're His neighbor from hell! Your neighbor is anyone that God has placed in front of you that needs compassion or your help.

3

If Christ reign in your life, you can't help but to love one another.

4

Love goes beyond boundaries. It's easy to love those that look like us, but our love must cross boundaries. Jesus crossed those boundaries because He knew the world needed salvation.

5

Love requires sacrifice. Real love says I'm willing to do whatever it takes. We should take time out to help those that are in need.

6

Love reflects the heart of Jesus. Loving Neighbors is a command of God. Tell them how loving God is. Tell them that Jesus is able to bring them out.
